Development of an SDLAN/XGSPON network at PPC facilities

Case study of CITROBC’s implementation study, engineering oversight, and supervision for the development of an SDLAN/XGSPON network across PPC power generation units and administrative buildings in Greece.

PPC industrial facility context for SDLAN/XGSPON network development

PPC power generation environment requiring coordinated telecom infrastructure planning.

Project Overview

This program is among the most complex telecommunications infrastructure initiatives in Greece, spanning multiple PPC facilities across the country. CITROBC contributed through an implementation study and supervision, supporting consistent execution aligned with technical specifications and site requirements.

The nationwide footprint and the diversity of facility types required structured planning, quality oversight, and close coordination between all participating parties.

CITROBC’s role focused on implementation study, coordination, and supervision activities and does not imply construction contracting or full delivery of installation works by CITROBC.

Program Scope

The program covered SDLAN/XGSPON network development across:

  • PPC production facilities and power generation units
  • Administrative centers and office buildings
  • Substations and technical installations
  • Regional locations throughout Greece

The geographic distribution required careful scheduling, standardized execution principles, and supervision to ensure consistent outcomes across all sites.
